Located in the Gothic District of Barcelona, it is predominantly gothic but shows the passing generations through different styles elements. It is also known as The Cathedral de la Santa Creu i Santa Eulàlia.
It took over six centuries to finish the contraction of this beautiful building. The Cathedral was started in 1298, and it was being transformed through the passing of time until 1890, year in which the front façade and tower were completed in Neo Gothic Style.
The interior of the Cathedral has to be viewed to have a better understanding of the splendor of this majestic construction. In this place there was the meeting between the Emperor Charles V of Germany and the Knights of the Golden Fleed.
